The City of Miramar, Florida contracted with John J Kirlin, LLC Mechanical Contractors to expand their existing brackish water reverse osmosis (BWRO) plant by adding one (1) additional 2.5 MGD skid.
Based on the design of Malcolm Pirnie, Inc. of Plantation, Florida, Aerex’s scope includes the installation of one (1) membrane process train, instrumentation panel, sample panel and all 316L stainless steel and duplex stainless steel piping throughout the facility.
The structural components will be manufactured from passivated 316 stainless steel and will support Pentair 80S45-7W pressure vessels which are interconnected with conventional stainless steel manifolds with all feed, concentrate and permeate piping constructed of duplex stainless steel. The skids are designed as a 40-24 array.
Engineering design, project management and field service will be supplied from Aerex’s headquarters in Fort Pierce, Florida. Aerex field service personnel will provide training to the Burnt Store Water Treatment Facility personnel on all aspects of the membrane system to ensure the proper operation and maintenance of the system.
