The Seminole Tribe of Florida contracted Aerex® Industries, Inc. to construct their new 2.0 MGD low pressure reverse osmosis (LPRO) water treatment system. There are two 1.0 MGD trains using Toray energy efficient low pressure (LPRO) membrane elements. The system support frame is fabricated with Extren extruded structural fiberglass shapes with feed and concentrate piping being fabricated from 316L stainless steel. Other major components of the system include Bekaert Progressive Composite membrane pressure vessels and Afton feed pumps controlled by Allen Bradley variable frequency drives.
Aerex’s® scope includes the manufacture and installation of the complete process system including process piping, status panels, sample panels, cartridge filtration, clean-in-place (CIP) system, instrumentation, controls, membrane trains and feed pumps.
Based on the engineering designs jointly developed by Aerex® and Jordan, Jones & Goulding, Aerex® ensured a properly operating treatment system through our in-house capabilities of system design, project management and field service. The operating personnel of the Seminole Tribe of Florida received complete training on the system operation including maintenance, cleaning and troubleshooting from the Aerex® staff.
